Published on

As part of our annual review of programmes, Whitireia and WelTec will cease delivery of the following music programmes from the end of 2022:

  • New Zealand Certificate in DJ and Electronic Music Production (Level 4)
  • New Zealand Diploma in Music (Level 5)
  • New Zealand Diploma in Music (Level 6)

Ākonga (students) currently enrolled in these programmes are due to finish their music qualification this year and will complete as planned. There may be some ākonga (students) in the New Zealand Diploma in Music (Level 6) who wish to pathway onto the Bachelor of Creativity (Performing Arts) Year 3 in Music. We will work with these ākonga to complete in 2023.
