Taikura Quality Management System
Taikura is the Quality Management System encompassing the policies and procedures for Whitireia and WelTec business division of Te Pūkenga - New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (Te Pūkenga).
Taikura means the heart of the tree – this being symbolic of a strong heart, enabling a tall, strong tree with good fruit; strong policies leading to successful students.
There are four over-arching policies which cover all aspects of Institutional life, as follows:

Published Taikura documents are in effect until they are reviewed and replaced. Taikura documents that are replaced by those created and approved by Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institution of Skills and Technology, will be noted on this site.
