Flexible study options
This micro-credential is worth 10 credits, you can enrol in one micro-credential, or study multiple separately.
These micro credentials will be taught online over a period of six weeks each. A total of 12.5 hours per week. They have been developed for flexibility, so you can still work while you study.
What you will learn
The aim of this micro-credential is to develop skills for writing for children and developing critiquing skills in this genre.
The target learner group is anyone who is interested in learning foundational knowledge of how to write for children.
Subjects for this micro-credential include:
- apply the techniques of writing for children
- analyse the work of peers in writing for chidlren
- reflect on the creative process of writing for children
