If you have technical knowledge, skills and experience in a construction related trade, you’ll gain the additional knowledge and skills required to supervise construction related teams. This programme uses a work based and blended model of learning and teaching methods.

You must be employed in the construction industry and have employer approval for access to supervision opportunities within their company of employment.

  • This qualification provides the wider building and construction industry with graduates who have the knowledge, skills and aptitude required to undertake on-site supervision of construction related teams and work programmes

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must be employed in the construction industry and have employer approval for access to supervision opportunities within their company of employment
  • Hold a level 4 qualification in a construction related area. A minimum of: Literacy - 10 NCEA credits at Level 2 or above (5 credits in reading & 5 credits in writing),  Numeracy - 10 NCEA credits at Level 1 or above.
  • OR Equivalent work experience that demonstrates a likelihood to succeed in the programme
